A stunning wedding at the beginning of October is what we are sharing today on our blog! We have Shynika and Tommy celebrating this joyous occasion!.
Preparations started at the Double Tree Hotel in Mt. Laurel New Jersey for both our bride and groom.
Before we got the ceremony underway at the Merion Caterers, our Bride wanted to do a reveal with her son.
In the fading warmth of a late-summer evening at The Merion in Cinnaminson, New Jersey, love took center stage in a series of poignant moments that marked an unforgettable wedding day.What a heartwarming first look between the groom and his mother, a moment that transcended tradition and spoke to the deep, unspoken bonds of family. The emotions shared in that tender gaze set the tone for a day that would be filled with love, traditions, and surprises.
And the stage was set at the Merion for their ceremony!
Jumping the Broom Tradition: A Symbolic Union
As the couple embarked on their journey together, they embraced the rich tradition of jumping the broom. This symbolic act, steeped in history and culture, marked the beginning of a shared life and the sweeping away of the past. The Merion’s elegant surroundings bore witness to this significant moment, beautifully captured. Each frame immortalized the couple’s commitment to honor their roots while forging a new path together.
At the Cocktail hour, guests were impressed by the aerialists and performers that our couple had provided as part of the entertainment!
Our couple also had a “Magic wall” where you ring the bell that you see on the holes and someone will serve you a glass of champagne out of the holes! What a cool idea!
What an Enchanting Floral Decor by My Love Stems. The Merion’s halls were transformed into a botanical wonderland, courtesy of the exquisite floral designs by My Love Stems. From cascading bouquets to elaborate centerpieces, every floral arrangement was a work of art, bringing an air of romance to the venue. Simply impeccable!
As the night unfolded, the bride surprised everyone with a breathtaking dress change, donning a second gown that epitomized glamour and sophistication. The bride’s radiance and the magic of the night were forever preserved in a series of captivating images. Everytime we are at The Merion, we just not simply photograph a wedding; it always becomes a canvas for love, tradition, surprises, and the artistry of celebration.
