Waterworks by Cescaphe Wedding
Cake Artist: Cescaphe
DJ: Synergetic Sound
Makeup & Hair Artist: A & J Beauty
When we found out that this couple are huge sports fans, and especially of the hometown team, we were so excited to know that their love for sports would play (no pun intended) a major role throughout their engagement session and wedding day at the Waterworks. We definitely had a blast photographing their engagement session at Lincoln Financial Field (home stadium of the Philadelphia Eagles for those who are not familiar) about ten months ago. Also, we just have to claim that when we took those photos, it was mid-season and we never would have thought that the team would win it’s first championship that season! They brought the good luck we say! So it was quite a ride for them leading up to this day.
And so the fun continued, now with their closest family and friends, their big day had arrived. What a wonderful wedding at Waterworks by Cescaphe this day was for Angela and Dane. We couldn’t have asked for a better day as the sun came back out after days of hiding. I guess you can say that it was really a blessing as September gets a little tricky sometimes.
We loved that everything was closeby for this wedding. The day started at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, where preparations for both our bride and groom were held.
A&J Beauty did a stellar job on our bride and bridesmaids.
Gorgeous bouquet by Beautiful blooms.
When we have the chance, we love to change up our bride and bridesmaids portraits. And love incorporating fashion in to it, to add variety. So it won’t look like something you’d always see at every other wedding blog. We’d say they just nailed it.Angela looked so stunning in her Sposabella gown along her veil.
And to our groom. Now this is an impressive groom details shrine!
This was a very fun detail they had, Socks with different WWE Wrestlers! We were a wrestling fan too growing up so this is really cool.
The groom and groomsmen definitely pulled off the GQ look! And to the ceremony we go at the Basilica Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in downtown Philadelphia.
We’ve been to this church a few times now but we still get amazed just looking all around.
Before we went to the Waterworks, we did a few portraits at a few spots right outside of the church.
We absolutely love the navy blue dresses of the bridesmaids.
As the reception started at the Waterworks, everyone enjoyed the view of the location and how gorgeous Cescaphe and Beautiful Blooms decorated the space.
And all the great views whichever way you turned.
And to cap off the evening, we had to dial our own Philly Special with a green eagle up top!
Congratulations to Angela and Dane! Thank you to all of the vendors that made this day a success and very special one! Thanks also to my team Nicole and Bonnie for rocking it out with yours truly! Cheers!
