Reading Terminal Engagement

This first quarter of 2020 has been a very interesting time in history. If you are like everyone else that misses the free liberty of going outdoors and to shops like the Reading Terminal in Philadelphia, going to the parks like the Schuykill Banks Boardwalk and strolling the streets of Broad Street, then you’re going to like this blog post and experience a bit of nostalgia. But I can say it just makes us more appreciative and embrace the freedom once we get back out there without the worry of this current health crisis.

 

Today, we have our couple Joanne and Mike and when we planned their engagement session, I was really excited of their location choices. First is the Schuykill Banks Boardwalk where Big Dog Run park is such a scenic location and a very popular location to soak in the breathtaking city views by the water, along with a nice jogger and biker trail. The second one is the famous Reading Terminal which is heaven for foodies. And lastly, is the Broad street median by the Academy of Music in downtown Philadelphia. With all those choices, I then was really looking forward to this Philadelphia representing photoshoot!

We started off at a location with some picturesque backdrops of the Philadelphia skyline along by the Schuykill river right beside a cool dog park called Big Dog Run park. This location at the Schuykill Banks Boardwalk was a windy location during that day in February. But we still got some incredible images woth our very fun couple Joanne and Mike!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For the part of our shoot, we then went for a cookie break at the Reading Terminal area, location downtown, where it is a paradise for foodies and tourists. We walked around to see what we could create and just continued to have a blast!

 

 

And as we went on to conclude our shoot, we headed to our last location. The front of the Academy of Music at Broad St. center city Philadelphia. To make this last segment of the shoot end on a high note, we ramped up the style and switched their outfits to a much more dressy to match the downtown city feel!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This was such a fun experience for our couple and us as we went around some really cool places which represented Philadelphia life.
