For brides that are getting married this summer or fall, or even spring. Winter time is a great time to be focusing on your planning and preparation for your wedding day. And even if most of the time we are stuck in the comfort of our cozy home, we still lose track of mostly the little things that we were suppose to take care of. I really get it, we all tend to procrastinate at some point. But hopefully, we do our best to stay on track of things. To that, we share an advice to brides who are on their wedding planning mode to help them on the organizational side of things.

In the old days, advice that’s given to brides are to get either a three ring binder, or a notebook to log in all of the correspondences, contracts, receipts and vendor information. For some people it may still be the best option, but in today’s world, there are more efficient tools that can streamline the planning even better.

Enter the App Evernote. Evernote is an app which is on both Android and IOS platforms. It’s just an amazing tool to get organized. This app can let you store receipts (it will allow you to take a picture of it and it is scanned and saved on the app; paper cluttered desk goodbye) and digital vendor contracts (you should always ask for one, in case you lose your paper copy), set-up a task list such as meetings, chat with your vendors via email and create notes. Because if you’re trying to take notes like a mad person during a vendor meeting and end up not being able to read it because you were in a rush, your efforts are wasted, solution; just create it in Evernote. This app also comes really handy when you see a sudden inspiration like an image or an article randomly at any point of the day that you would like to incorporate on your wedding and you don’t have your binder or notebook with you, you can just pull up your phone and open Evernote, create a note or take a snapshot of it from the app. Because reality is, you will eventually forget it.

Within Evernote is a search feature, that way you can pull up anything within its database. The key part of it is everything is centralized. That is what will help you stay on track of everything. So you can organize your tasks which makes you more efficient, and even create tasks per stage of your wedding.

Imagine, you won’t have to carry this cumbersome binder or keep a shoebox of receipts. Everything is on your phone. Also, you can sync Evernote to your devices and email that way, everything is backed up.
